18650锂离子电池爆炸的原因是是什么?

大家好,18650电池爆炸一直是大家担忧的问题,经过30年的发展,18650电池制备工艺已经非常成熟,除了性能有了极大提升之外,其安全性也非常完善。但是你们要知道很多实际上劣质电池和不合格电池才是这些事件的罪魁祸首。很多朋友认为那个金属壳的圆柱电芯18650锂离子电池爆炸的威力超乎你的想象。其实这种金属壳的锂离子18650电芯在正极那头有盖帽,盖帽都有泄气阀装置,没等里面的气体达到爆炸临界值的时候,就已经泄气了,安全阀是每一颗18650锂离子电池的标配,也是最重要的一道防爆屏障。。当然这个是品牌的哈。18650锂离子电池爆炸的原因是里面的电解液和微量的水分短时间受高温高压的作用产生膨胀后爆炸的,有了泄气阀,则这种条件不会产生。除非内部短路,能形成爆炸条件。

 

此前发生的移动电源爆炸事件,全部是因为无良厂家为节省成本使用不合格的劣质18650电池,甚至是二手废电引起的。目前各大品牌电池厂商生产的18650锂离子电池其实是非常安全的,而且18650电池使用率非常高,我们在日常使用时能够做到正确的使用以及避免电池短路,受损或温度过高,完全不用担心电池会爆炸。我们不能一竹竿打翻一船人,以个别劣质产品来定性18650锂离子电池的安全性。

 

我在东莞的鸿伟能公司做技术员,有时候也要测试锂电池的综合机械性能如何,如果测试的电池通过率达到标准就可以出货。做这些实验有一定的危险性,因为像重物锤击这类的实验,个别电池会爆炸,把钢壳完全炸开,不是把盖子顶开那种,是把钢壳炸成一个片。威力相当大,这种实验是在铁箱里面进行的,电池一爆炸,整个铁柜子都会震动并且摇晃一下,实验的柜子起码有百多斤,大家可想而知爆炸的威力有多大。

 

18650锂离子电池爆炸的原因还是蛮多的:

1.电池材料对锂电池的安全性影响,因为电池材料一般都具有热活性,当外部温度或者电池温度持续升高时,锂电池部就会进行许多热反应,如果温度不断上升,18650锂离子电池就有爆炸的可能性。所以锂电池正负极材料的选择对于电池安全性能具有重要影响。

 

2.生产中各个操作环节的品质控制也是影响电池安全性能的重要因素,正负极容量配比、浆料均匀度控制、正负极片毛刺、电芯卷绕时有短路为检测出来做到成品后电池电路等等。我们在用锂电池的时候,如果有过充或者外短路,内短路导致锂电池发烫,电池内部快速化学反应膨胀引起爆炸。

 

讲解了这么多,我们来总结一下:其实对于锂电池来讲,会出现爆炸原因也是可以理解的,毕竟在以前的时候,对于这种稳定性的把握不会那么厉害,但是18650作为一种性能对比性非常高的锂电池,其应用肯定会越来越广泛的,毕竟目前对于这种不可或缺的电池来讲,18650锂电池是最好的一个选择。

因为现在电池的容量要求越来越大,为了满足大容量的要求,现在智能机都采用锂聚合物电池,而锂聚合物是软包电池,它的外表面是很薄的铝箔,不是诺基亚时代用的铝壳或钢壳,这样同等体积重量下容量就会比较大。而铝箔比较薄,很容易弄破,如果给用户自行拆卸基本上都会弄破,一旦弄破表皮,电池就没用了,严重的甚至会起火,所以要做成内置。说到起火,采用锂聚合物电池不仅是容量大,也是为了安全考虑,以前那种铝壳,钢壳电池,由于全封闭,如果电芯内部发生短路,很有可能发生爆炸,而软包锂聚合物不会,它只会涨包,漏液,严重才起火。虽然现在好多铝壳电池都做的有防爆线,但安全性还是差一点。那种18650钢壳电池爆炸起来更厉害,好多充电宝都用的这种电芯(虽然锂聚合物充电宝也逐渐多了,但18650仍然是主流)。所以大家还是不要自行拆卸充电宝吧。ps:锂聚合物也可以做成可拆卸的电池,电池正反面加钢片然后注塑,但电池体积和重量增加了,经济性和工艺性都不好。
